Description of MI250 High Temperature Switches.

FEATURES

High Temperature Operation
The MI series of proximity switches are designed to operate in elevated temperatures up to 480° F / 250° C.

Protected Cable
The sensor cable is encased in a stainless steel mesh for protection.

Protective Housing
The MI series has a rugged housing capable of withstanding harsh environments, such as oil and welding spatter.

Switching Distance
These inductive switches are available with a switching distance of 0.6"/15mm, 0.8"/20mm and 1"/25mm.

Short-Circuit Protection
The output of MI series is short-circuit protected. The switches can be delivered with optional relay output.

Principle Of Operation
The MI series of switches have an inductive oscillator. Switching occurs when the inductive field collapses.

Sensor Head and Electronic Module are matched together, interchangeability is not guaranteed.

Cable insulating material is Teflon, sharp bending or permanent kinks are not good for long life operation.
